The following privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) governs your use of the Grad7 website (Grad7.com) and the Grad7 mobile applications (“Website” “App,” and collectively the “Grad7 Platform”), and any content made available from or through the Grad7 Platform, including any subdomains thereof. Admitas Advisory Services Pvt Ltd (“Grad7,” “Admitas”, “we,” “us” or “our”) may change the Privacy Policy from time to time, at any time without notice to you, by posting such changes on the Grad7 Platform. This Privacy Policy does not cover, supersede, or affect the terms of any policy and agreement between you and any third party (such as any payment providers, integrated services providers, Apple, Google, or any other parties you may share data with when using the Grad7 Platform). This Privacy Policy does not apply to any information that is collected offline.
BY USING THE GRAD7 PLATFORM, YOU ACCEPT AND AGREE TO THE PRIVACY POLICY AS APPLIED TO YOUR USE OF THE GRAD7 PLATFORM.
If you do not agree to the Privacy Policy, you may not access or otherwise use the Grad7 Platform.
Grad7 is committed to protecting your privacy and developing technology that gives you a safe online experience. This Privacy Policy applies to the Grad7 Platform and governs Data collection and usage. For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Data” is defined as all personally identifiable information (“PII”) and other non-public information, including, but not limited to student Data, metadata, and user content. By using the Grad7 Platform, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.
Use of the Grad7 Platform does not require any PII except for that PII described in this privacy policy.
Grad7 does collect PII from you upon creation of your Grad7 Account, including, but not limited to your full name, a valid email address, age, date of birth, demographic information, payment information, and billing address.
Grad7 collects PII from the students you are advising, including, but not limited to, the students’ full names, email addresses, street addresses, phone numbers, and application materials including academic transcripts. Students under the age of 18 should get parental permission before submitting any PII to the Grad7 Platform.
Grad7 collects and stores PII from users sending us correspondence or providing feedback through the Grad7 Platform, including, but not limited to, the users full name and email address.
Grad7 collects a limited amount of non-personally identifiable information that your browser makes available when you login into the Grad7 Platform. This information may include internet protocol (IP) address, browser type, browser version, browser language, session identifiers, software information, hardware information, and the date and time of your query on our site. One or more cookies may also be used to help uniquely identify your browser should you return to our site at a later time. This information is used for the purposes of enhancing our product and service offerings to you.

We may use the Data we collect from you to: (1) operate and improve Grad7; (2) personalize your experience on the Grad7 Platform; (3) assist Grad7 in providing better service and respond to your requests: (4) administer promotions, surveys or other features; (5) to contact you about your Grad7 Account; (6) respond to subpoenas, search warrants, judicial proceedings, court orders, defend against legal claims, and/or establish Grad7’s legal rights; and (7) investigate, prevent, or take action regarding alleged or actual illegal activities, violations of the Terms of Use, or as otherwise required by law.
Grad7 uses “cookies” to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. Cookies can also help us understand your preferences based on previous or current site activity, which enables us to provide you with improved Services.
Grad7 may also use cookies to help us compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future.
We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our users. These service providers are permitted to use the PII collected from you and your students for the sole purpose of helping us conduct and improve our business.
You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You may do this through your browser (such as Chrome, iOS, Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer) settings. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features or services of the Website you visit.
Grad7 and/or our third party service providers may also use technologies such as beacons, scripts, tags, and clear gifs. These technologies may be used to analyze trends, administer services on the Grad7 Platform, track users across the Grad7 Platform, and gather aggregate demographic information about our user base. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies on an individual and aggregate basis.
Some web browsers have a “Do Not Track” feature. This feature lets you tell websites you visit that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. These features are not yet uniform across browsers. The Grad7 Platform is not currently set up to respond to those signals.
Upon the expiration of your free trial, Grad7 will collect payment information from you if you plan to continue using the Grad7 Platform. Such payment information may include, but shall not be limited to, credit card number, credit card security code, billing address, and zip code (“Payment Information”). Please be advised that Grad7 shall disclose your Payment Information to its third party payment processor Stripe for the sole reason of processing your payment. In order to provide you with increased value, Grad7 provides you with the opportunity to opt-in to third party services. These third-party services are hosted on websites that are separate from Grad7 and are governed by their own privacy policies. Grad7 does not have any control or liability with regard to the content and activities of these third party services. You are responsible for reviewing the privacy policies of these third party service providers before opting-in to their services through your Grad7 Account.
The Grad7 Platform may share Data with trusted partners to help us perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, or provide customer support. Grad7 uses Google Login to authenticate your identity and provide you the option to pre-populate our sign-up form with your personal information, including your name, date of birth, and email address. We do not see, read or collect any of your Google Account information or files unless you send them to Grad7.
Grad7 provides Google Drive integration (including Calendars) as an opt-in feature of the Grad7 Platform so users may access and share their Google Drive files without leaving the Grad7 Platform. Opting in to Google Drive integration requires read/write access to your Google Drive account to read/write on your behalf. A randomized ID masks each folder and is securely stored on the Google Cloud. We do not see, read, or collect any of your Google Drive documents or files unless you send them to Grad7.

Grad7 may disclose your personal information to third parties not described in this Privacy Policy, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with a legal notice served on Grad7; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of the Grad7 Platform; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Grad7 Platform, or the public.
Grad7 does not share user information with any social media platforms or provide integration widgets to social media platforms.
Grad7 does not sell, rent, or lease your PII to third party advertisers. However, Grad7 may permit our authorized service providers access to aggregated de-identified Data about our users, sales, traffic patterns, usage, and related information from time to time for marketing, advertising, or other purposes. De-identified Data will have direct and indirect personal identifiers removed. This includes, but is not limited to, name, identification numbers, date of birth, demographic information, location information, and school identification. Grad7 shall not attempt to re-identify de-identified Data and not to transfer de-identified Data to any party unless that party agrees not to attempt re-identification.
In order to accommodate changes in our business, we may sell portions of our company or buy other companies or assets, including the information collected through the Grad7 Platform. If Grad7 or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will be one of the assets transferred to the acquirer.
You may opt-out of Data collection at any time by uninstalling any applications offered by Grad7 from any of your devices, and/or by deleting your Grad7 Account. If you choose to delete any applications or your Grad7 Account, all the folders, search profiles, and referrals you have created through the Grad7 Platform will also be deleted.
Grad7 retains PII only for as long as your account is active or to fulfill a legitimate business purpose. Upon your request or upon deletion of your Grad7 Account, Grad7 shall make reasonable efforts to delete your PII. However, deletion of PII does not ensure complete and comprehensive removal of the data from all systems.
Grad7 follows generally accepted industry security standards to safeguard your PII it has collected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. The Grad7 Platform secures the PII you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When PII (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.
We strive to take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or alteration of your personal information. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, you acknowledge that: (a) there are security and privacy limitations inherent to the Internet which are beyond our control; and (b) security, integrity, and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and us through the Grad7 Platform cannot be guaranteed.
Grad7 will occasionally update this Statement of Privacy to reflect company and customer feedback. We encourage you to periodically review this Statement to be informed of how Grad7 is protecting your information.
